The 87th American Association of Meat Processors (AAMP) Convention is in the books! Located in wonderful downtown Milwaukee, WI last week the convention hosted a trade show for suppliers to the meat processing industry, including Integritemp, which was represented at the exhibit booth by Fred Graham our Cold Chain Packaging Advisor.
Fred reported great energy and excitement on the exhibit floor as convention attendees/AAMP members visited the many suppliers showing the latest and greatest products and services targeted at small to medium size operators. AAMP predominantly represents the interests of meat shops, lockers, farm-to-table operations and the like. It was a family friendly atmosphere with the owners/operators bringing their spouses and kids along for the experience.
Fred had all our Integritemp product lines on display at the booth, and color changing pens for the kids to marvel at as he spoke with mom and dad about solutions to protect their fresh and frozen meat products in transit with UPS and FedEx. Many operators were new to insulated shipping and searching for knowledge to accompany the products we offer. Fred was more than happy to offer a brief rundown on how to ship their meat while doing show & tell with the packaging solutions available at the booth, including EPS and REfoam+ coolers, Fast Pack cut sets, coolant packs & Thermalast bags.
Our cold chain packaging options were also of great interest to operators currently shipping their meat but experiencing failures with their packaging. Fred was ready with ideas to solve their problems and cut their losses.
